District 30 welcomes local AA members to get involved in service!
We reach out the hand of AA through activities such as: Maintaining a current list of meetings and operating a hotline to help connect alcoholics with the AA program. We volunteer to take meetings into treatment centers and correctional facilities. We preserve an archive of local AA history. We provide information about AA to related professions and the general public.
→ District 30 Entertainment Committee is always looking for members of the fellowship to volunteer at our events. For more information, email the Entertainment Committee Chairperson.
→ Hotline Volunteers are always needed: Call (540) 752-2228 or email the Hotline.
→ Treatment facilities: Contact our Treatment Facilities Chair to take a meeting to the Sunshine Lady House (Fredericksburg) or Boxwood Facility (Culpeper).
→ Corrections Committee: Taking a meeting into the Rappahannock Regional Jail requires an application and approval process by the facility. Below are the steps to submit an application. If have any questions, please contact the Corrections Committee Chair.
- Read the Volunteer Program Handbook

Print and complete these four documents:
- Receipt of Volunteer Handbook
- Volunteer Application (must be thorough and honest)
- PREA Agreement Form
- Release of Liability
- Make a legible copy of the front and back of your Drivers’ License
- Hand-deliver or scan and email all four (4) completed documents above + the copy of your Drivers’ License to the Rappahannock Regional Jail.
